6 Tips to Enjoy Eating Holiday Treats Without Guilt



Happy Halloween!

I absolutely love the holidays, including Halloween! I love the smell of autumn, the high energy in the air, and the joy that is expressed when looking into children’s eyes who is eager for the partying to begin.

Unfortunately, many people painfully regret overeating or having candy on Halloween, which does NOT serve them. Being negative only lowers the body’s vibration, thus causing weight gain, water retention and indigestion. 


If you’re one to beat yourself up emotionally and mentally if you give into the cravings of decadent desserts, rather than putting yourself through the ringer, be positive and give yourself the "okay" to have some treats. Tell yourself, “It’s okay if I want to eat some candy or have dessert at my family or friend's party. I can shed any water weight gained easily tomorrow.” 

Then visualize your body processing what you eat well to remove it from your body. Keep in mind that eating one high calorie meal is just "ONE meal" and that it’s good for your body and mind to have indulgences now and again.

Doing so will keep your body in a higher energy vibration, which will enable your body to process the food optimally, and will inhibit your mind from running amuck from overeating or enjoying some tasty treats. 

If you fail to do so and do the rather, only to berate yourself, you will shift into a much lower energy frequency which causes cortisol to go bonkers in your body and gain weight easier. All of which, may cause you to self-sabotaging your healthy lifestyle and feel compelled to overeat at every meal for days to come.

To help your body process the sugary treats easily and to stay in a positive mindset, do the following 6 tips below.

6 Tips to Enjoy Eating Holiday Treats Without Guilt:

*  Have a protein shake before going to your party, doing so will aid in keeping your blood sugar level, and prevent you in overeating.

*  Take a digestive enzyme supplement with eight ounces of water prior to eating (this should be done prior to eating all your meals) for optimal absorption of nutrients.

*  Be happy and positive! When you’re happy, your body is happy, which helps it work correctly and proficiently and helps prevent increased cortisol levels in your body. 

*  Remember, you’re not in a race to reach your fitness and ideal body weight goals. Your healthy way of life is just that—a Lifestyle! Enjoy social gatherings with your family and friends without feeling guilty of eating a tasty dessert. 

*  Stop eating after 6 or 7 pm. End your evening by drinking lots of water and chewing gum if you still feel the urge to snack. Drinking water will help cleanse sugars and toxins from your body.  

Hold off eating breakfast until 11 am. Intermediate fasting will aid your metabolism to keep it burning in high gear. 

*  Go to sleep feeling happy, self-assured and relaxed. Know that God is over all, and that the run rise will bring about a new day—a new beginning to get back on track with your health and wellness goals.

By following these simple tips you will have more joy, peace and enjoyment tonight as you celebrate the holiday with festivities.
