HOW TO LOSE BELLY FAT


I'm always asked how to lose belly fat... We all want a slim midsection, yet for some it often more difficult to achieve. Genetics obviously have a big role to play in it; however, we are responsible for what we put in our mouth, an most often than not we're actually not feeding our body healthy wholesome foods.


If you have a large belly odds are that you are insulin resistant. That means your body cannot process carbohydrates in your diet so it is stored as fat. The best diet to shrink your midsection is a high protein & veggies with selected low glycemic index fruits. Aim for having at least 20 to 30 grams of protein with each meal & snack.  Eat nuts and have Omega’s to aid in your weight loss and health.  Be sure to drink lots of purified water to keep you well hydrated and to remove toxins from the body.

Society as a whole is overweight, obesity in children is also at an all time high, quite frankly that's scary.  Being fit and healthy all comes down to moving more and eating less. We all long for more energy, when you move more you will get more energy naturally.  You’ll be more inclined to workout too.  

Make exercise a high priority in your life. Even if you don't have the energy to truly hit the gym you can burn more calories by walking more, when you walk do so with energy, walk fast, it will burn more calories and you'll get more things done during the day too. Here are a few ways to incorporate more steps into your day.


HOW TO GET 10,000 STEPS IN A DAY

·    Aim for walking 10,000 steps a day.
·    Park far away in a parking lot, walk to the mailbox.
·    Take a walk each evening with your family.
·    Take the stairs instead of the elevator.
·    Walk your dog each morning.
·    Take a walk in the park.
·    Go walking for your lunch break, keep tennis shoes at work & take a quick meal such as a protein drink, an apple and a 12 raw almonds to eat after your walk.
·    Walk with a friend on the weekends.
·    Do yard work.
·    Clean your house.
·    Clean your garage
·    Walk the Malls, window shopping can be a lot of fun.

YOU CAN DO IT!



If you watch what you eat and avoid carbs you will shrink your midsection. You can get your carbs by eating an apple a day which is healthy and filled with fiber. Think about your success as attainable. See your midsection as getting slimmer each new day.

You can achieve your goals and dreams but only if you honor and believe in you. So make you number one in your life and care for your body, if you do you will find that your body will become healthier, stronger and more vibrant, which attracts more to be thankful for in your life. Believe in your ability to accomplish your fitness goals by loving all that you are now! You can do it!
