TIP OF THE DAY....

PORTION CONTROL

Proper nutrition doesn't have to be complicated and you don't have to count calories to achieve your ideal weight. It all comes down to portion control, it really is that simple! Eating small meals every few hours will increase your metabolism. Include Liv SXinney Water & cRave and your body will slim down even more quickly!

A portion of protein is the size of your palm.
A portion of carbs is the size of your fist.
A portion of veggies is the size of your hand.

Your body does not work well when overfed. Have you ever wondered how Sumo Wrestlers get so huge??? They skip breakfast, fast all day then in the evenings they binge for 3 straight hours before retiring. Sound familiar? Your body can only process a limited amount of calories in one sitting, any calories that's not used for fuel is stored for later use - which means it's converted into unwanted fat! Your metabolism needs constant fuel to stay burning at its optimal level. By following these simple guide lines you will achieve your fitness goals!

MY SON'S BIRTHDAY!!!

Today is my oldest son's birthday! He's 14 years old!!! It's crazy I don't feel old enough to have a child that age. I have to say that I'm very proud of him. He's grown up to be such a kind, respectful, fun-loving teenager. I hear many parents complain about their teenagers, and I always think how grateful I am to have my sweet kids. Each of my children are really enjoyable to be around. We're an extremely close, loving family, the words "I love you" are heard all day long. My children tell each other they love each other everyday, it warms my heart deeply. I grew up that way too. My family always expressed our love and appreciation to each other and still do today. My siblings are my best friends. I'm one lucky girl to have been blessed with such a wonderful family. So David gets to play and relax all day long. We'll have a party for him too this afternoon with family and friends, I'm looking forward to it!

Yesterday we spent all day in the barn. Jeff worked many hours moving fresh sand that was brought in for the arena and stalls. He did an awesome job! Page and Flash are in heaven!!! They love sand! They rolled and played in it when it was still in piles. They're sooo cute! I love watching them play and run around. Flash was his fun loving self, he followed us everywhere in the barn. I let our horses walk around freely when we're working, they love it. It gives them more freedom and they're a lot happier when we give them free range. We have a fence around our entire property, so they're always safe when they're let out.

Lindsey's horse comes today! She's so excited!!! It will be fun to have Ellie here, she's a bay Appendix QH. I hope and pray that she and Page get a long, they're both mares, hopefully they're not both dominate - Page is queen and she let's everyone know it. I'm sure they'll get along eventually...

I woke up rather fatigued today, and for good reason. I worked out hard all week, then shoveled sand all day yesterday and ended by going to bed too late and waking up too early... so I'm not going to workout today. My body's telling me I need to rest. I've learned from countly experiences to listen to my body... if I don't it will shout loud enough that before I know it I'll be in bed sick... RECOVERY is highly important! So I'm going listen well and give my hard working body a good day of rest. I'm going to play with my kids & horses, eat well and try to take a nap sometime before the day is through. I'm looking forward to a fun, memorable day! xoxo

TIP OF THE DAY....

DID YOU HAVE BREAKFAST THIS MORNING?

Do you eat the most important meal of the day??? What is it you ask? It's breakfast! After 8 hours of fasting through the night your body requires nutrients to jump start your metabolism. Studies have proven that eating breakfast will lower your cravings during the day along with assist in burnng fat for energy. Of course your breakfast needs to be low in calories and fat. So eating 8 pancakes with loads of butter and syrup does not aid in achieving your weight loss goals. A great breakfast would be to eat 2 eggs w/ 2 egg whites with a slice of whole grain bread and SXinney Water. So do your body a favor and start your day off right!

MY DIET & EXERCISE ROUTINE :0)

I'm very happy this morning! I had a great nights rest, unfortunately it's been awhile since I woke up refreshed and rearing to go. Sleep is imperative for muscle growth and recovery. Being back on schedule has helped a ton now that my kids are back in school. I'm feeling more like me again! Yeah!

Lately I've had a lot of inquiries about what I eat and what I do for exercise. I've decided to share my routine along with a sample of my diet. The past few months I haven't been working out as hard as I usually do due to summertime& lack of quality sleep. However, I am now working out hard and feeling great!

I have to preface my latest high intensity workouts to taking ZXoom's AWESOME PRODUCTS! I added an immune enhancer and a muscle building product called BloX & GO!!! I absolutely LOVE THE PRODUCTS!!!! I take BloX before my workouts with my multivitamins, and then take GO with my recovery drink directly after my exercising. To get lean fast YOU HAVE TO TRY GO!!! My immune system is at an all time high - literally. I haven't been able to workout as hard as I am without serious fatigue in years!!!! They're truly outstanding products! If you want to learn more about them I highly suggest you listen to Michelle LeSueur's ZXoom radio broadcast at http://www.zxoom.us/, she's an amazing nutritionist which is passionate about the Liv SXinney products.

My exercise routine is:

M - 1 hour cardio (18.5 miles), upper body weight lifting (med weights, 3 sets high reps)
T - 1 hour cardio (15 miles) on bike, lower body weight lifting (med weights, 3 sets high reps)
W - 1 hour cardio, upper body weights lifting (heavy weights, 3 sets low reps)
Th - 1 hour cardio, lower body weights lifting (heavy weights, 3 sets low reps)
F - 1 hour cardio, upper body weight lifting (med weights, 3 sets high reps)
S - 1 hour cardio - Rest
Sunday - OFF

Typically you should lift before doing cardio, but cardio is my least favorite so I do it first to get it out of the way. I also drink Liv SXinney after to rejuvenate before I strength train.

My diet is to eat clean with high ph ,low glycemic index, low fat foods. I eat every three to four hours with each meal consisting of lean protein, complex or fibrous carbs, and good fats such as omega 3-6-9 blend or an avocado. I try to eat a veggies (three or four varieties) at each meal.

My sample of my diet is:

1st Meal:
protein drink w/ GO, light soy milk & frozen berries, almonds, 1 T of omega blend
2nd Meal:
cottage cheese w/ salsa, cucumbers, zucchini & celery for chips! cRave
3rd Meal:
chicken or tuna salad on whole wheat pita, salad with feta cheese, & almonds or avocado with Wish-Bone Balsamic Breeze salad spritzers (love it!)
4th Meal:
cottage cheese, yogurt & All Bran Buds (mixed together for a yummy treat!) cRave
5th Meal:
chicken breast, green beans w/ almonds & salad w tons of veggies mixed in

And of course I drink Liv SXinney water all day long in addition to eating cRave. I have found this diet works extremely well to burn unwanted fat and build beautiful, lean muscle - which I love!

If you'd like more detailed information on diet or exercise please feel free to contact me, you can email me at http://www.liveskinnynow.com/ and I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have.

That's it for now... Have a great day!!!! :)

HORSE SHOW & LIV SXINNEY STAR EVENT

Yesterday was one full day! We woke up early and headed to a horse show for my daughter's first horse show. We were all excited. I was a bit stressed I must admit because my husband didn't come home from work - literally! He worked through the night and was still at the office when I woke up. He always helps us get ready for horse shows, so needless to say, I missed him very much. But as always, my sweet, supportive little bro, Jeff, came to the rescue! He's such a stud!!! I don't know what I would do without him. I love him more than life, he's always been my best friend. So he came and helped us prepare for my daughter's big day! Lindsey also came with us, she also showed Pagie Girl. They both did very well. I was so proud of my princess, she took 1st place and 3rd twice in the english walk/trot classes, she did amazing!!! And to top it off she showed with her best friend. So it was a great way to end summer. This was the beginning of her new found love, showing horses!!! I couldn't be more pleased!

After we returned home we cleaned the barn and the house for a bit. I was exhausted! But there was no time for the weary, I had to shower and get ready for the Liv SXinney Star Event. I drove up with my dear friends Heidi and Angie, we had a lot of fun. Cori & Lorrie were incredible hosts as always, they're so kind to offer their gorgeous cabin for the events. There was a phenomenal guest speaker, Michelle LeSueurs DBe, CNC, CNS, she was awesome! She went over in great detail the health benefits of each ingredients in all of the Liv SXinney products, (Liv SXinney Water, cRave, Go, ClenzT & BloX). I absolutley love Liv SXinney and I am even more impressed than ever before with the product. It truly is a gift from above!

So there you have it! I sincerely want to share Liv SXinney with the world - literally! I want to help everyone I know become thinner, happier & healthier by living the Liv SXinney lifestyle... It really is so easy and so rewarding! I'm so grateful for Liv SXinney!!!!
